1128 Group is solely owned by Devin James, who founded the company to focus on off-market land and home acquisition across Orlando’s core neighborhoods

Prior to 1128 Group, Devin partnered on 73 ground-up new construction homes across Central and Southwest Florida, creating over $27.9M in combined property value. This hands-on experience in land acquisition, development, and new-home delivery shapes how 1128 Development approaches every build.

Today, 1128 Group operates across three focused entities: 1128 Group, 1128 Development, and 1128 Properties — each built to serve Central Florida with the same values the name was built on.

My first home — purchased mid-COVID, when everyone was afraid the market would drop.

Your favorite part of the job that has nothing to do with money?

Being able to see my wife and daughter throughout the day.

Favorite Orlando neighborhood?

The Hourglass District — it’s where I had my first child. That 900 sq ft, 2-bed 1-bath home has my heart.

Where do you take out-of-town family and friends?

Bar Italia at Winter Park Village.
